ECHO Conference – Dec. 5-8

November 29, 2011

Several people have been asking me about the conference that I will be speaking at next week in Florida, so here’s the link.  ECHO is an organization that has been a huge help to me over my 19 years in Togo and Benin through the amazing amount of information that they have gathered as well as discovered on their own.  Their farm in Florida allows them to experiment and explore options that we can, and have, apply in many other parts of the world.  Their appropriate technology branch is wonderfully innovative using materials that are readily available to two-thirds of the world’s population.

So, for anyone thinking of working in the developing nations, their site and their books would be helpful.  I am extremely honored to be asked to be one of their speakers, I owe so much to them and their publications, Amaranth to Zai Holes being one of their best known.

Check out this video for a better introduction to ECHO –
